A Honor Student at Skyview High School, Karsyn is on the Cross Country and Track Team. A Student Body Representative and Cheerleader, she also loves Tahitian dance and attending church youth group. She volunteers with the Salvation Army, the Share Outreach Homeless Shelter and fundraises and creates awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes One Walk and Graves Disease and Thyroid Foundation. Karsyn is passionate about helping others and plans to become a physical therapist

Kasey Hobson - Sumner Teen USA

Kasey graduated with the class of 2016 from Sumner High School, where she was 1 of 8 group leaders in the leadership program of 70+ students. This program is what sparked her passion to build relationships, work on her character every day and serve others. After overcoming body image issues Kasey wishes to spread awareness on body image and eating disorders to empower young women to live a life of confidence and health.

Kassidy, 15, is from a close knit Christian family. Being a victim of bullying and wanting to be an inspiration to others, she put her energy towards music and has become an up and coming recording artist. Her original song, Carolina Water, has earned honorable mention in a worldwide competition. Kassidy played club volleyball but an injury sidelined her indefinitely. She believes when one door closes another will open.

Katherine Hansen - Tacoma Teen USA

Kate is a sophomore at Bellarmine Prep. She is a 4.0 student, runs varsity track and is a cheerleader. Kate aspires to be a trauma surgeon. Outside of school she is a lifeguard and swim instructor. Her passion is competing in equestrian jumping. Kate has struggled with anxiety and hopes to show teens that it is nothing to be ashamed of, and she has proven that it's possible to lead a joyous and successful life.

Kathleen Crosby - West Bellevue Teen USA

As Class President, Kathleen leads by example: she created the Be H.I.P Project to inspire students to grow to be their best self through Honor, Integrity, and Purpose. Be H.I.P! She is an award winning cross-country and track athlete. Currently, Kathleen is a junior in high school, volunteers as a youth basketball coach, models and aspires to obtain her Master's Degree in Education and Business.

Kristen Green - Clark County Teen USA

Clark County Teen USA

Kristen is a 17 year old senior at Hudson's Bay in Vancouver. She attends Cascadia Tech Academy's Criminal Justice program along with being a member of the Sheriff's Explorer's post. Kristen has a very admirable desire to help others in such a way that they learn to rely on themselves. She loves to volunteer and help various first responders in their training exercises. She is planning on joining the United States Air Force after graduation.

At being 16 years old and being part of the Drill Team at Sammamish High, while going to the Boys and Girls Club for 8 years and being part of a leadership group through the BGC called Keystone, that focuses College Prep, Career Prep, Community Service, and Teen Out-Reach, I have learned to love and help both teens and within the community through volunteering especially with the Melodic Caring Project that provides healing through music.

Makaylah Richardson - Thurston County Teen USA

Makaylah is a passionate and driven teen that enjoys expressing herself through the arts. When she is not busy with school or dance, she enjoys singing, art, and working on her novel. She taught herself how to play the guitar and has enjoyed sharing her talent with friends and family. She enjoys giving back to her community and volunteers with the South Sound Reading Foundation, an organization that provides books for low-income families.
