Makenna Busenius

Auburn Teen USA

Makenna is a 15 year old sophomore at Kent-Meridian High School and a second year varsity cheerleader. She would like to see the world of education become more accessible to everyone, regardless of abilities. Being a teenager with learning disabilities herself, Makenna would like to see an education system where teachers can teach the way students learn. She also loves all forms of art and history and hopes to become either a midwife or archaeologist.

Makenna, 18, is a freshman at Cascadia College where she is studying psychology to become a youth and family counselor. She is very passionate about ending bullying and raising awareness for homeless women with children. At age 14, she created "Makenna's Reflections of Hope". Being involved with the DECA and leadership programs in high school, she found a love for public speaking. She enjoys trying new things, spending time with family and Seahawk games!

Morgan Kinailuk - Kettle Falls Teen USA

Kettle Falls Teen USA

Morgan was born and raised in Kettle Falls. Morgan has been a cheerleader for the past four years. She is active in FCCLA, and is also the President of her High School's Student Council. She enjoys reading, writing, spending time with her family and friends, and volunteering within her community. Morgan's brother, Gage, is overseas in the Air Force, and she misses him dearly. Morgan is the proud daughter of Troy and Stacy Kinailuk.

Natasha Kacharia - Greater Seattle Teen USA

Greater Seattle Teen USA

Natasha has won 7 US National medals in Artistic Roller Figure Skating and is currently is training to make the world team in 2017. When not at the rink, she studies to maintain a high GPA and plays volleyball for The Overlake School. Additionally, she is an avid reader and writer. Natasha is an active member of the Outreach Club at her school, which volunteers at many different organizations including Northwest Harvest and Hopelink.

Noelle Tapang - Orting Teen USA

Noelle is senior Vice President, varsity Cheer Captain and Select Choir Officer at Orting High School. Her ambition is to pursue a Doctorate in Pharmacology at WSU and travel the world. A disciplined pianist and singer, Noelle leads an all-girl harmonizing group, MashUP. Noelle enjoys reading to kids with Read Across America every year and is a published children's eBook author, "I Like Me, Just Like This!" inspiring kids to celebrate self-acceptance.

Piper Schirm - Tri-Cities Teen USA
Piper Schirm

Tri-Cities Teen USA

Piper, an active leader at Richland High, is a member of the sophomore class council, Vice President of her DECA chapter and is looking forward to playing golf this spring. Outside of school, Piper is an officer in her 4-H group, enjoys spending time with her horse, and teaching childrens' Ju Jitsu classes at the gym where she trains. Piper also participates in several community service projects at the food bank and humane society.

Sofia Griffith - Issaquah Teen USA

Sofia is a senior who attends Issaquah High School and Yellow Wood Academy. With her love of other cultures, Sofia plans on pursuing a bachelors degree in environmental science and anthropology. She enjoys fashion, art, and history. Living in a multi-racial family and adopted as a baby, Sofia's goal is to demonstrate to others that ethnicity and life situations does not determine their future. Sofia supports her community by attending and leading church activities.

Summer Keffeler - Sky Valley Teen USA

Sky Valley Teen USA

"A dream is a wish your heart makes." With the dream of becoming Miss Washington Teen USA, Summer wants to use the title to promote the importance of giving back through sports. Currently, Summer volunteers with the Miracle League, is an award winning competition dancer, published author, as well as an honor roll student. Her mission as Miss Washington Teen USA is to become an ambassador for the Good Sports organization.
