The stars of the show, "the B girls" (The Beauty Girls) are the current titleholders from ID, NV, VA & WA (the Miss Universe Organization including Miss Teen USA & Miss USA). Each young lady is put through a series of challenges as she prepares for the national title. These challenges tests her interview skills, sales abilities, physical prowess, mental & emotional psyche, competitive drive, improv abilities and more. There will be 12 webisodes and webcast every Sunday and Wednesday evening at 7:00pm (PST) with the first webisode on April 11th, 2010. You may watch the season series by going to: www.MRKd.tv

On behalf of Pageants NW, we’re proud to announce the new 2010 Miss Washington USA winner, Tracy Turnure (Miss University of Washington USA) who is 23. She graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Business Marketing & Sales. She works at a prestigious real estate company in downtown Seattle as a Market Analysis. The most intriguing part though was that she was crowned by her twin sister Tara Turnure, Miss Washington USA 2009. The new 2010 Miss Washington Teen USA winner is 17 yr old Camilla Cyr (Miss Kirkland Teen USA) who attends Eastside Catholic High School and is on the varsity cheer squad and tennis team. She hopes to complete her education at a 4 year university and study world business. She enjoys time with her family and friends and loves to help others. Camilla will represent our state at the 2010 MISS TEEN USA® pageant next spring and Tracy will compete for the 2010 MISS USA® title on April 18th, 2010. Sponsors contributed a record of nearly $900,000 in scholarships, prizes, cash and awards this year!
Rounding out the Top 5 in the Miss Washington USA®: 1st runner-up Lacey Carroll (Miss Kirkland USA), 2nd runner-up Lauren Ice (Miss Downtown Kent USA), 3rd runner-up Jennifer Le (Miss Kent USA) & 4th runner-up Rachael Kevin (Miss Snoqualmie Valley USA). CONGENIALITY – Mary Welsh (King County), PHOTOGENIC – Kelly Backous (Vancouver), SPIRIT – Sarah Carter (Juanita).
Rounding out the Top 5 in the Miss Washington Teen USA®: 1st runner-up Olivia Cruzat (Miss Maple Valley Teen USA), 2nd runner-up Lauren Kuhn (Miss Spokane Teen USA), 3rd runner-up Kyla Dixon (Miss West Tri-Cities Teen USA) & 4th runner-up Khadijah Homolka (Miss Puyallup Teen USA). The combined event which took place October 10th -11th included a celebrity panel of judges including Alex Thomason (NBC’s “The Apprentice” final four), Candace Newton (producer), Jeff Lang (22 year music executive with Warner Music Group, produced 13 TV shows, and now owns The Sound Advice Team of RE/MAX in Gig Harbor), Julie Sun (was a producer at Direct TV nad has been featured on HGTV’s Househunters), Kathy Kovacs (anchor/reporter), Kelly Olerud (Chair of Little Bit Capital Campaign and wife of MLB first baseman John Olerud), Paul Gordon (award winning director/producer), Rex Crain (former Boston Red Sox and current life coach to the stars), Sammy Maloof (stuntman in many of Hollywood’s major hits), Scott Milligan (International male model)

Tickets may now be purchased for the 2010 Miss Washington USA & Miss Washington Teen USA pageants which will be held at Highline performing arts center in Burien, WA! You may purchase tickets online, over the phone, at Brown Paper Tickets in Seattle or at the actual pageant event. The Presentation Show (Prelims) is on Saturday, October 10th at 4:00pm and the Finals Show is on Sunday, October 11th at 1:00pm. Finalists will not be announced until after the start of the Finals show so you may want to attend both the Presentation show (where each contestant will have more stage time than during the finals) and the Finals show. Sadie Porter - Miss Washington Teen USA was one of the Top 15 Semi-finalists at the recent MISS TEEN USA from Paradise Island, Bahamas. She was the first semi-finalist from WA since Jasmine Jorgensen in 2003. Her performance was worthy of winning the MISS TEEN USA title. We're so proud of you Sadie!!! She’s been studying Business Marketing and is planning on pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism. She loves spending time with her family, being in the gym, fashion, the outdoors and baking. Tara hopes to be viewed as a positive inspiration for women of all ages. The new 2009 Miss Washington Teen USA winner is 17 yr old Sadie Porter (Miss Selah Teen USA) who is a senior at Selah High School and serves as the ASB vice president and is a member of an award winning dance team. She plans on attending Stanford University while double majoring in Psychology and Spanish and hopes to own her own business some day. She enjoys time with her family and friends and loves to help others. Sadie will represent our state at the 2009 MISS TEEN USA® pageant next summer and Tara will compete for the 2009 MISS USA® title on April 19th, 2009. You, the public may now vote for one TEEN and one MISS contestant for MISS PHOTOGENIC! Go to the "Contestants" tab and click on "Miss Washington USA Contestants" and/or "Miss Washington Teen USA Contestants". Then click on "Vote for Miss Photogenic" and it will bring up all of the contestants for that particular division. Vote for the one you feel is most photogenic!!
